The North Deck is located on the North coast of Trinidad, it is an elevated platform designed to integrate with the rainforest, allowing large trees to grow through strategically placed holes, creating the illusion of being part of the canopy. Surrounded by thick ferns and flowering bushes, the deck offers a unique treetop experience.

Accessible via the original Fond Pois Doux road, a well-constructed concrete road meaning “a gathering area for sweet peas,” the North Deck’s history includes remnants of past cocoa and coffee cultivation, evidenced by an old cocoa house on the hillside.

Situated approximately 1800 feet above sea level, the deck provides breathtaking views. Looking northward, one can see the island of Grenada, unspoiled rainforest descending to Paragon Beach, and Saut D’Eau island, a seabird roosting site. On clear days, views extend to the sister island of Tobago to the northeast.
