Hi! I’m Yaisa, a passionate wedding photographer based in the vibrant landscapes of Trinidad and Tobago. I’m also a proud mother of two, and my journey into photography began 16 years ago when I picked up a camera to photograph my son — and I haven’t looked back since.
For me, photography is more than a profession — it’s a way of life. It’s about capturing genuine moments, preserving emotion, and turning real stories into timeless visual narratives.
With deep roots in the Caribbean, I specialize in photographing weddings, elopements, engagements, anniversaries, maternity, and family sessions across Trinidad, Tobago, and the wider region — including Barbados, Anguilla, St. Lucia, Grenada, and beyond. No destination is too far when it comes to telling your love story.

A: We recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure availability, especially during peak wedding season.

A: We primarily serve Trinidad and Tobago, but have shot weddings within the Caribbean islands are available for travel worldwide. Travel fees may apply for destinations outside our primary area.
Q: Do you offer engagement sessions?
A: Yes, we offer engagement sessions as part of some of our packages or as an add-on service.
Q: How many hours of coverage do you provide?
A: Our standard packages offer 7-9 hours of coverage, but we can customize the hours based on your specific needs.
Q: Do you have a second photographer?
A: Yes, a second photographer is available as part of some of our packages or as an add-on service. This is especially useful for covering groom getting ready at a different location and to capture all aspects of your special day from different perspectives.
Q: How long does it take to receive our photos?
A: You will receive a link to your online gallery with previews within 2 weeks from your wedding day with full delivery within 3-4 months after your wedding day.
Q: Do you provide prints and albums?
A: Yes, we offer a variety of print and album options. You can choose these when booking or decide after receiving your digital gallery.
Q: Who owns the copyright to the photos?
A: As the photographer, we retain the copyright to all images. This is standard practice to ensure the integrity and quality of the photos are maintained.
Q: Can we share our photos online?
A: Yes, you are welcome to share your photos on social media. We kindly ask that you credit Yaisa Tangwell Photography when posting online.
Q: Can we print our photos ourselves?
A: Yes, you will receive high-resolution digital files with a print release, allowing you to print your photos for personal use.

A: Yes, we understand the need for privacy. We offer a privacy option for an additional fee. This ensures that your photos will not be used in any promotional materials, portfolios, or online galleries.
